Tryin' Man 03:21
Colours of the rainbow make the shades in the sand Find a pot of gold and I’ll be a lucky man I’ll try to find, way to the end Every road I pass every corner I take Life won’t seem to give me a brake Ill try to find, way to the end Cus I don’t wanna die a not tryin’ man I’m stuck in the ocean, there’s land in sight Swim my way through, cus I don’t wanna die Ill try to find my way to the end I’m on the mountain and I’m feeling the breeze It’s getting cold and im down on my knees Ill try to find my way to the end Cus I don’t wanna die a not tryin’ man Floatin above among the sky Where’s that fuckin’ rainbow before I die Ill try to find, way to the end Cus I don’t wanna die a not tryin’ man

My Road Home 01:57
I’m gonna kick it right back Right back to the start I’m going low riding in my low riding car On my road On my road home Feel the heat on my sun-glassed face Put down the window and I feel the pace Move my arm, like an ocean wave Watch the sun go down across the sky As it meet’s our land, as the day meets the night All I can say, ‘today, goodbye’

Cross my heart Hope to die Stick a needle in my eye if it wasn’t true that I loved you Cross my heart Hope to die Stick a needle in my eye if it isn’t true that I still love you
4.
Take Me Away 03:05
I wish my life would grow; I’m dying inside that’s all I know Cause I cant live without you, I cant bring myself to forget about you I wonder today is my next step going to take me away To the clouds, to the angels where the peaceful go play I never knew you could be like this, so much love just thrown away I wish I could bring back your kiss and god damn I’d let it stay I will never forget about you, cause I can’t take my mind away from you I love you, only you I love you, only you

The Rabbit 06:49

Lost 05:07
I’m living where the waves come crashing and rollin’ in Where the mountains grow high and the birds fly with the wind If I won the lottery tomorrow, I would still be the same person I am today Not a care in the sky as the world pass me bye and I go on my way Look around there is many a field to be seen Growing wild and open with the odd tree in the breeze Thought this would make me happy and all I want is out of this misery Oh... look around can‘t ya see This is all I’ve ever wanted but now I see Help me fulfill my life one more time please God damn I miss you, god damn I wish I could have your touch Because I… love you so much
7.
For Yea 04:28
Soft as a petal, swift as a dove Fresh as a fruit, please give me your love. Warm as a blanket, bright as the sun, Touch of an angel. Oh please be the one I just wanna hold yea, show you my dreams. Won’t let go of yea, until I show yea what love really means to me Character of a princess, patience of a monk Colourful as a butterfly, oh my heart has sunk. Flow, like a tree in the breeze. To be lost in the curl of her hair, Happy, that would be me Not a day has past that I hadn’t thought of you, Oh if you only knew At least I, gave it a go. I mighten’d of bin on one knee, it was over the phone. I had to ask for the peace of mind, see will I love be for the rest of time

I’ve been walking along, I’ve been walking along time I’ve grown out, grown out of been a child Your never too old to grow out of your smile Your never too old to grow out of your smile Seen sunny days, seen the days go bye Rains came down and the winds go wild Say its gone to cold, to cold to go outside Never to cold to show off your smile Never to cold to show off your smile See the young get old, hold onto your smile While you get old, hold onto your smile Gone too big for my boots gonna hang’em out to dry Gone too big for my boots gonna hang’em out to dry Your never to big to show off your smile Your never to big to show off your smile Your never , your never too old Your never , your never too old So don’t le go of your smile Don’t let go of your smile
9.
All I Want 03:33
Walking out side On the soft green grass Sun shining Down on my back All I want is for it to last Just want it to last Flowers in bloom Sky so blue Water so clear You can see right through Tallest trees To the smallest robin Well ain’t that something Well ain’t it somethin Music in the air Only magic to see Oh… what a place to be Oh… what a place to be
10.
Every roar of the ocean, we hear it’s call Head our way out, leave our worries and all. The shadows of the distance come close and stand tall, Hold our breath shall the shadows crash and fall. Glide our way on through, Dancing like the seal with the clue. Surf as long before the night, We’ll be there for the next sunrise We look to find our dark rise, Paddle our way out to barrel the night. Come our way out of glory, at the present times Only to be remembered by our delight, Be in the moment of feeling calm, We shall wait any time for the next storm. Battle any wind or any wave, We’ll find our glory at the end of the day.

about

This album was recorded and produced by Daniel Scannell of Seaweedjam Records in the lovely land of Co. Cork in Ireland. Final Mixing and Mastering was completed by Duncan O'Cleirigh of Blackwater Studios, also in Co.Cork. I would just like to give a sincere thank you to both of these gentlemen. What a relaxed manner these both have had with working with me and I am most grateful for all their work and help given.

If you Purchase Native Oak's album, thank you and I hope you enjoy having a listen. For every purchase, Native Oak will be donating 10% to The Irish Natural Forestry Foundation.

Instruments on this album are a 30 quid nylon guitar and a dream of a broken up steel string that is still sounding better every time I play it. Piano, percussion (egg shakers), mandolin and harmonica are all written and performed by Adam Cross of Native Oak. The little piano section that comes in at the end of 'Take Me Away' was written and performed by Daniel Scannell of Seaweedjam Records.
