about
This song to me is simple, just about a clean and beautiful land
which we live on and I see the troubles we put on it and would
love for it to continue for future generations to be clean and beautiful.
I wrote this while walking around in circles on my friend’s garden in just
a pair of shorts and with a mandolin. I was on Killadoon hill
and I was over looking Cross and Carrowniskey beach. A beautiful sight
and would just hope people who come after get to witness such beauty.
lyrics
Walking out side
On the soft green grass
Sun shining
Down on my back
All I want is for it to last
Just want it to last
Flowers in bloom
Sky so blue
Water so clear
You can see right through
Tallest trees
To the smallest robin
Well ain’t that something
Well ain’t it somethin
Music in the air
Only magic to see
Oh… what a place to be
Oh… what a place to be
