about
With this song I wanted to write a surfer song that reflected more of what my friends, I & to whichever surfer goes through surfing in the depths of cold winters. I dedicate this song to all the people I have shared and are going to share waves with in the future.
lyrics
Every roar of the ocean, we hear it’s call
Head our way out, leave our worries and all.
The shadows of the distance come close and stand tall,
Hold our breath shall the shadows crash and fall.
Glide our way on through,
Dancing like the seal with the clue.
Surf as long before the night,
We’ll be there for the next sunrise
We look to find our dark rise,
Paddle our way out to barrel the night.
Come our way out of glory, at the present times
Only to be remembered by our delight,
Be in the moment of feeling calm,
We shall wait any time for the next storm.
Battle any wind or any wave,
We’ll find our glory at the end of the day.
